Women's Wellness Brunc & Shop:

The Black Family Edition

The Black Family Edition of the Women’s Wellness Brunch and Shop will take the time to close out the summer family style. At this gathering, Dr. Ori will share her expertise in ways that Mothers and families can be instrumental in ensuring that their children have a strong cultural immune system as they enter into the, often culturally hostile, school environment.

The focus of Dr. Ori’s brief presentation will be on the ways that you can explicitly teach your children about your family’s cultural heritage, instill pride in their unique heritage, and provide the language so they can feel comfortable sharing with diverse others.

The focus of the brunch will remain on women’s wellness as women tend to be the center of the family’s well-being, and the whole family is welcome. Male family members are especially encouraged to come to support the women in their lives and to support the businesses that are bringing forth wellness products for the ladies in your life.

What's Included?
  • Love Being Black: Teaching Our Children Their Cultural Heritage led by Dr. Ori

  • Children's Table: the kids will have plenty of self-affirming activities to partake in

  • Access to local Black- and women-owned wellness brands

  • VIP guests entered raffle to win wellness gifts from Amma's Shea and True Luxuriant Beauty
